The Museo delle Antichità Egizie of Turin, best known simply as Egyptian Museum, is considered the most important of the world, after the museum in Cairo.
The museum is dedicated exclusively to art and culture of ancient Egypt, and keeps relics of great importance and value.
Among the 30,000 pieces of the museum, that go from the Paleolithic to Coptic Age, you can admire mummies and statues, the tomb of Kha and Merit, the temple of Ellesija, the statues of Isis and Sekhmet, the statue of Ramesses II and the Canone Reale, also known as Papyrus of Turin, one of the most important sources on the egyptian Pharaohs.
